Request Child Support Paperwork: I am currently in the process of applying for Financial Aid to continue with my education. My financial Aid office is seeking paperwork stating that I DO NOT receive any child support from my daughters father.



I am NOT seeking to enforce child support being that her father and I are still together. For this paperwork would I have to come down to your office to obtain this or can I go to the local courthouse in Ocoee and get a statement stating this? Your response is greatly appreciated.

Second, I don't understand why the financial aid office needs information about child support if you are still living with your daughter's father.

If you are divorced and later reconciled, you need to inform the Florida Department of Revenue, and the Florida court system of that fact.

Your daughter's father could face serious consequences for failing to pay child support even though you are not enforcing it.
