Florida Petitions To Amend Court-Ordered Child Support?:Do you handle petitions to amend court-ordered child support? I have a 2yr old son now in addition to the 6yr old daughter I pay child support for.
I need to amend the court-ordered child support due to the child care expense incurred from my son, and change of employment of my daughter's mother.

Answer to Florida Court Forms Question
Dear Steve,
There are forms readily available for amending court-ordered child support on the Florida Supreme Court's website, www.flcourts.org.
The primary form for requesting the court to amend court ordered child support is, Supplemental Petition for Modification of Child Support, form 12.905(b).
The form's instructions state:
This form should be used when you are asking the court to change a current court-ordered child support obligation. The court can change a child support order if the judge finds that there has been a substantial change in the circumstances of the parties and the change is in the child(ren)’s best interests.

Other forms that you may need to file along with that petition are:

- Settlement Agreement - If you have reached an agreement regarding child support with your daughter's mother, you may be able to complete the applicable sections and file a Marital Settlement Agreement for Dissolution with Dependent or Minor Children, Form 12.902(f)(1).
- Notice of Social Security Number, Form 12.902(j) - if not previously filed.
- Family Law Financial Affidavit, Form 12.902(b) or (c), depending on gross income.
- Certificate of Compliance with Mandatory Disclosure, Form 12.932.
